Fishing Boats in Ullapool, Scotland

Fishing Boats in Ullapool, Scotland

I traveled with my sister to Scotland in the Fall. We stayed at Ullapool on the North-West Coast of Scotland for a few days before taking a ferry to the Hebrides Isle of Lewis. The port area of Ullapool was perfect for doing some quick watercolor sketches of the harbor and the boats. Lots of interesting activity. They also have the best fish and chips in the UK at a cafe near the pier. And it was. Nice little shops with arty stuff and crafts made locally. Some very nice mosaics on a couple of business type buildings. All in all, we loved Ullapool. Much more interesting than its' name sounds
